IPAD help please????

ok so christmas is coming up and im thinking of getting an ipad, ive looked at plenty of reviews and i think id really use one (so please dont leave comments saying “giant ipod”). The problem i have is ipad 2../ do you guys know when its coming out? because if its just after christmas ill wait but if were looking at say april i think that’s kinda long to wait for a christmas present. ive hurd the ipad 2 will have a camera which for me is no big deal so is this the only major change? im a great user of msn and hate hate hate having a webcam as people often ask to view it, so if the ipad 2 does include a front faceing camera will msn apps like IM+ pro feature viewing cams? any information on the ipad 2 and its realise date, and answers to my questions will be much appriated. thanks for your time :)

admin answers:

An iPad with a camera is only a rumor right now. It’ll probably happen, but there’s no confirmation now. The earliest the new iPad will come out is June if it’s anything like Apple’s previous release schedules, so there’s a pretty long wait between now and then, so if you absolutely want and need one, just go ahead and get one now.

Ask The Experts About Asus Pad Computers

Mandy asks…

What does it mean to ‘bootcamp’ a computer?

I came across the following phrase in another answer, but the respondent doesn’t accept email or IM.

“Buy a cheaper computer from HP or Asus or Dell or whatever. bootcamp it to use the mac OS”

My Mac recently died and I am stuck with the IBM Think Pad running Chinese XP. I would DEARLY love to make it run OSX… tell me how, tell me now.

admin answers:

Bootcamp is a program for Mac computers thats lets you boot up your computer in Xp, Vista or some other operating system, which also means you can run windows applications on your Mac.

Boot Camp divides the hard disk into Windows and Mac partitions, installs the necessary drivers and creates a “dual boot” environment.Boot Camp does not provide a virtual machine capability such as found in Parallels Desktop and VMware Fusion. Windows and Mac applications are not run simultaneously. At startup, the user must choose which OS to use and must reboot to switch to the other environment.

Sandra asks…

Brake pads worn out or switched by shop?

So back in July my dad and i replaced the break pads on his 2007 honda accord. The front pads were at 5-10% and the back were around 50%. So we only replaced the front pads. Brand new honda pads we bought from the dealer.

In October we get a letter saying the 03-07 models of accords have a computer error that needs to be fixed. We go to the dealer and they do their update and then come back and tell my dad he needs his pads replaced. They say fronts at 5% and rears at 0%. This is 3-4 months after we changed the pads and about 2000-3000 miles. These are suburban and highway miles.

Even if we screwed up the brake pad install on the front, which i dont think we did, is it possible for both the front and back pads to go from 100% and 50% to 5% and 0%, respectively, in 4 months and 3000 miles later?

So did the dealer switch the pads up? Its a honda dealer ship and it has HORRIBLE reviews.

——————–

here’s one of there reviews, just in case you wanna know:
I wish I could give more than one star, but they don’t honor warranties. My husband took his car in because the clutch went bad. He heard multiple excuses from the service guy who went so far as say that he called Honda Corp and they told him they won’t cover it. Castle Service gave my husband ridiculous prices saying if he wants his car fixed it will be an out-of-pocket expense (anywhere from $600-$2600).

My husband then called Honda Corp and they said Castle Honda never called them to authorize work and of course it’s under warranty. Honda Corp got in touch with Castle and instructed them to fix the car today and to send Honda Corp the bill. Castle refused to do the work because they’ll make more money if the customer pays than if Honda reimburses them.

The Honda rep then told my husband to get his car out of that place as fast as possible and take it to Muller… the guy was flabbergasted and said he’d never heard of a Honda dealership refusing to honor warranties. He’s taking the situation to a higher power. Good luck, Castle.
@dk.. Yea we replaced them all today, my dad didn’t check the pads until now because he heard it squealing today. He thought the guy was lieing to him so he didnt bother to check, he didnt think the dealership would actually switch out the pads or that they could wear out in that short of a time.
and yea they were all at 0-2%

admin answers:

Someone is trying to fill their pockets. If they refuse to do what the factory says then contact them again. There is no way brand new pads would wear out that fast. In order for them to wear out that fast you would have to be riding the brake all the time. I believe i would be going someplace else.

Lisa asks…

microsoft word 2003, word pad book review help!, microsoft word 2003, wordpad experts come!?

can anyone tell me how to do a book review using wordpad(preferably) or microsoft word 2003?

this is an example of what I have to do: www.msa.mmu.ac.uk/continuity/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/book-review.jpg

you notice the picture at the right side, with columns or the words. How do I make the columns like that with the picture there? Also notice the books information at the middle left? How do I put a picture of the book there along with the page numbers, price, and on top of that insert a line under it to separate it from the writing?

thanks!

admin answers:

Simple insert the image and then click on the standard toolbar click columns. Drag to select the number of columns you want.
