What does it mean to ‘bootcamp’ a computer?

I came across the following phrase in another answer, but the respondent doesn’t accept email or IM.

“Buy a cheaper computer from HP or Asus or Dell or whatever. bootcamp it to use the mac OS”

My Mac recently died and I am stuck with the IBM Think Pad running Chinese XP. I would DEARLY love to make it run OSX… tell me how, tell me now.

Is this a good computer pad?

For christmas, and with all my money together, i have 280 dollars, i would like to get a computer pad. i am not into looking at the ipad. i want full web browsing (not mobile), a webcam, and a usb cable in my tablet. but if it doesnt have a webcam but it has a usb, i can always buy a cheap webcam to plug in right? i really like this one (see link at the end) does it look like a good website to enter credit card info? is it a good product? are there any recommended ones with the above criteria? and with this (vVv) one i an plug a webcam into it for skype right? all answers appreciated! thanks!
