Skype has finally released an update for their iPhone/ iPod touch app which lets users video call using the app with a computer. This video call can be done using a 3g or a wifi connection. The free version comes with over 30 professionally-sampled instruments that you can control with your iPhone Touch/iPad over WIFI. Note the back track was added later. The intro I played was not edited to match the tempo of the back track. So timing is off a bit… Move your hand position to fret 12, set Tap mode on, and then you’re ready to rock. You can download tabs for this song anywhere on the internet that offers tabs. I’m just showing you how to play the intro, which demonstrates just how playable this App really is. Coupled with MIDI, it’s the first of its class. If you play the guitar, have an iPhone/iTouch/iPad, and a computer, then this is a must-app. You would be foolish if you didn’t. You basically can control all your digital music instrument on the computer wirelessly on your i-device. We’re talking 1000′s of instruments. You will enjoy playing for hours/days/weeks/months/years. Just don’t blame me when you don’t get enough sleep. How to transfer photos that are backed up on your iPad back to your computer for Free using Aperture, iPhoto and Lightroom. No extra Apps required. Don’t get suckered into buying Apps that you don’t need. I was recently on a holiday and I backed up over 1000 photos on my iPad using the camera connector kit. When I got home I imported my backed up files to my Mac computer. Fast and easy. No extra apps required. Since this works with Lightroom, I’m sure it will work on Windows machines as well.
